Job Summary
Ensure that critical production equipment are in perfect working condition and are available for use, at optimal cost of reliability
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance in conjunction with relevant Section Heads
Monitor maintenance activities for efficiency and safety ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are followed
Oversee technical staffs in the performance of their duties and provide expertise as required
Enforce accident prevention and occupational health work procedures and regulations
Ensure safekeeping of materials, tools, and equipment
Coordinate Mechanical maintenance in a safe, professional manner, in accordance with industry standards, environmental restrictions, original equipment manufacturers’ recommendations and DCP Standard Operating Procedures
Prepare weekly / monthly maintenance reports for the attention of the Head, Mechanical Maintenance
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Head, Mechanical Maintenance from time to time
Education and Work Experience
A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline
A minimum of eighteen (18) years plant operations related experience
Skills and Behaviours:
Very good analytical and problem - solving skill
Very good oral and written communication skill
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

Job Description
We are looking for an electrical engineer who will help us advance our electrical products, systems, and applications. On a daily basis, you’ll carry out various engineering tasks, such as performing calculations to ensure our systems meet the global safety standards and collaborating with technicians and computer programmers to solve emerging issues. Ultimately, you will improve our company’s products and processes and contribute to its growth.
Carries out maintenance on Electrical plant equipment. In addition, supervises Technicians, Fitters and Operators.
Carries out break down repairs or shift duties.
Carries out planned maintenance of electrical equipment & ensure high availability.
Carries out such jobs as directed by the Engineers or Manager.
Ensure compliance with ISO Standards.
Requirements
Trade Test 1 + 24 years’ experience OND (Electrical/Electronic Engineering) + 10 years’ experience
Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
Should be able to work with less supervision.

Responsible for ensuring that mines heavy equipment are in safe operating condition by conducting routine maintenance and scheduling needed repairs.
Responsibilities
Attend major repairs (Overhauling and Repairs) of Mining Machineries
Inspect hydraulic, engine and transmission system of all Mining Machineries
Reading of hydraulic and transmission system flow diagrams and troubleshooting
Comply with safety, health, environment and quality procedures
Report and relate activities to the Supervisor/Maintenance Engineer
Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor/Maintenance Engineer
Overhaul Engine transmission, hydraulic pump, cylinders and other major assemblies
Generate and analyzing of reports

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree Automobile /Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
