Job Objective
Jumia Services is the Logistics Marketplace company of Jumia.
The mission of Jumia Services is to create a connected and integrated network of service providers, which addresses in the best cost/quality ratio, the needs of millions of sellers and customers of Jumia.
On-Demand Services known as Jumia Foods is currently looking for talented Dispatch Operators who will coordinate logistics for food delivery.
You will have the opportunity to connect with customers, assist in route planning and monitoring, and handle customer complaints.
Responsibilities
Scheduling Riders in <1mins
Assigning and re-assigning orders to free riders on the UN web portal
Reassign riders within clusters/ hubs
Follow up on partners’ dispatcher to ensure no idle time for free riders.
Follow up/ monitoring Delayed order on Urban Ninja
Resolve Riders complaints via phone, email, chat channels with functional teams (Customer service, Vendor Ops team).
Escalating to the appropriate department such as Vendor Ops on restaurant issues & customer service on customer’s issues.
Attempt to persuade customers to reconsider cancellation.
Ensuring proper Education and communication are disseminated among riders in the community.
Qualifications & Experience
3+ Years experience in various fields of Customer Service, Supply chain.
Process-oriented, well-organized with a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent analytical ability: the ability to leverage analytical work into action-oriented reporting and plans of action.
Ability to articulate the right findings using the data.
Advanced knowledge in the following computer programs: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent Communication skills & flexibility to work in different environments.
Detail-oriented personality.
Strong people leadership
Team player
Good reporting and presentation skills with a keen eye for detail
Personal drive with a sense of urgency and an ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to managing initiatives to a successful conclusion
Experience or high level of comfort in logistics operations.

Responsibilities
Developing and sustaining solid relationships with key clients that bring in the most income for the company
Actively signing up new accounts to improve portfolio and drive the monetization agenda
Communicating and collaborating with the design, marketing, commercial, and logistics teams to ensure that key clients’ needs are met.
Compiling reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts for account teams and stakeholders.
Developing a thorough understanding of key clients' needs and requirements and preparing customized solutions.
Grow revenue, education and solution adoption with Key Accounts and Partners
Optimize campaigns and identify programmatic ways to do this at scale
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly
Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your client portfolio, including escalation and troubleshooting to resolve client issues
Gather clients and partner feedback to enhance ad products and the customer experience
Deliver consultative support and up-to-date education on our Jumia products and Services
Spot trends and business growth potential.
Required Skills & Qualifications
University Degree and/or Master's Degree or equivalent experience
2/3+ years previous experience in agency account management or consulting
Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Jumia Advertising clients as well as the acquisition of new leads.
Key Responsibilities

The Logistics Manager will oversee, material handling, transportation, delivery and return collections.
The Logistics Manager will prepare worker schedules and ensure distribution, delivery and last-mile workers follow safety rules.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Management:
Managing day to day operations
Challenging established processes and implementing new processes to adapt to the fast growth of Jumia Services clients
Finding creative and innovative ways to offer a better customer experience
Fully understanding our information system and working with our IT team to roll out new developments
Working closely with the Jumia Services central team to share and implement global best practices
Managing relationships with clients and partners (Third-party logistics partners)
Responsible for the logistics P&L
Responsible to meet the logistics targets and KPIs including quality of customer experience.
Required Qualifications & Experience
A completed Master's Degree from an accredited university;
Degree in Engineering,
Operations, Supply Chain or MBA preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Email, Internet etc.
Proficient in Google Office Suite – Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.
10 years with 2+ years direct management experience, preferably in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment with a strong focus on logistics or alternatively consulting / banking.
