Develop rapport with new clients whilst actively trying to gain new business opportunities
Identify partnership opportunities
Develop new relationships to grow the business
Maintain relationships with current clients and assist with any issues that may arise
Work with senior management, marketing and operations staff
Work with team members to ensure that prerequisites and pre-qualifications for getting on a vendor's list are fulfilled within a timely manner
Enhance the company’s performance through conversion of leads
Increase contact with key accounts and other critical decision makers at various client organizations and concentrate on expansion for the business
Contribute to negotiations with customers including preparations of tenders
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field.
M.Sc. in a science related field.
Minimum of 7 years experience within a Business Development function

Job Description
Manage all operations within the northern region (central, east and west). This involves taking responsibility for revenue and quality targets.
Manage vendors, clients and records.
Produce a detailed annual business operating plan as well as deliver on quarterly targets for revenue and profits.
Identify new clients, produce Business Development plans and report performance monthly.
Lead company’s strategy with regulatory institutions
Participate and represent the company in industry trade events and other marketing initiatives.
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field.
M.Sc. in a science related field.
At least 5 years relevant experience.
