Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will provide key financial accounting operational functions.
He/she will also manage accounting reporting and analysis.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare annual fiscal budgets, internal controls, audits, tax returns/ compliances, inventory, payroll, receivables, and payables.
Oversee cash flow management to ensure smooth implementation of projects and operations.
Consolidation of accounting information and account reconciliations.
Prepares financial monthly reports and management reports.
Assists in reviewing the Internal Control mechanism to ensure compliance with relevant financial laws and regulations.
Plan and implement systems for financial operations in accordance with donor regulations.
Ensure compliance with donor policies and procedures.
Supervises and trains finance staff.
Performs any other task as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.
Key Requirements
A degree in accounting and finance is required.
Minimum of 4 years of professional working experience.
Professional accounting qualification such as ACA or ICAN is required.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good team player.
Good analytical skills, planning, and organizational skills
Problem-solving and solution-oriented.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and able to deliver within given deadlines.
Experience
Working knowledge of Peachtree is a must.
