Job Summary
Assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses applying for credit.
Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information to determine risk.
Develop and manage credit products, including loans, credit cards, and other financial instruments.
Monitor the performance of existing credit portfolios and recommend adjustments as needed.
Identify and assess potential risks associated with credit transactions.
Implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure the overall health of the credit portfolio.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies for promoting credit products.
Create marketing materials, campaigns, and promotions to attract new customers and enhance product awareness.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Provide financial guidance and support to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and adjust practices accordingly.
Utilize data analytics to identify market trends and customer behavior.
Make data-driven decisions to optimize credit products and marketing strategies.
Prepare and present reports on credit portfolio performance, marketing effectiveness, and key metrics to management.
Requirements
B.Sc / HND in Marketing, Accounting.
3 years of Credit and Marketing working experience in a Microfinance Bank.
Reside in Delta State or Willing to relocate.
Passion and drive for marketing and sales.
Understanding of the marketing or sales process and dynamics.
A commitment to excellent customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both prospects and customers.
Good persuasion skills.
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite including word, excel, and outlook.
Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
Previous marketing experience in the financial sector will be an added advantage.
