Job Overview/Summary
Reporting to the warehouse officer, the storekeeper is responsible for the efficient coordination and management of most warehousing and inventory management functions for the IRCs office in Mubi.
The position will also be responsible for the standardization of policies and good warehousing practices in the Mubi field office warehouse.

Key Task
Understanding, implementing, and/or maintaining standard IRC material receipt and release policies and procedures as specified in the SOPs.
Ensuring all required documents are properly filled and authorized before the movement of goods in or out of the washhouse.
Advice the warehouse officer of potential inventory shortages
Manage casual laborers in the warehouse.
Ensure the maintenance of warehouse premises and fitting equipment.
Implement and ensure clear loading/and unloading procedures, and correct stacking and turnover (FIFO) procedures.
Maintain the warehouse activity book recording all outgoing and incoming receipts and activities.
Advice the senior supply chain manager of the warehouse-specific issue or improvements
Maintain the warehouse activity book recording all out and incoming receipts and activities.
Update as per IRC requirements, the Asset register, Asset inventory list, and expendable store inventory list and produce monthly reports.
Goods reception and transport
Assist in receiving all supplies.
Keep an accurate and up-to-date record of the store contention and inward and outward movement of goods in the warehouse register and bin cards.
Prioritize dispatch needs in conjunction with the program.
Warehouse and Inventory
Monitor the security of IRC’s storage and supplies.
Receive completed store’s release forms and prepare the goods for issuance.
On a monthly basis, work with the warehouse officer to reconcile the warehouse register.
Update the stock record cards and Bin cards regularly.
Expected deliverables.
Maintain full and accurate records within the warehouse comprising the Bin cards and warehouse register.
Support warehouse officer to provide on-time, standard weekly and monthly reports.
Job Requirements
Minimum one year’s working experience.
Knowledge of generic warehouse management systems and forms
Minimum of Diploma certificate.
Physically mobile, able to lift 30kg without strain.
Good mathematical skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English language.
