Job Summary
Provide necessary support towards the integration/operations and maintenance of enterprise customer services, via various transmission media microwave, fiber optics and satellite.
Principal Functions
Provide high level technical support to enterprise customers, and field support engineers, in resolving outages on enterprise links
Proffer long term solutions to repetitive enterprise links degradation affecting customer's network quality and availability.
Provide feedback to the planning team on ways of improving enterprise customer experience based on the prevailing transmission network realities.
Coordinate the relevant transmission operations / IPBB/ LAAS vendor teams to work together in resolving enterprise customer outages within acceptable MTTRs.
Provide relevant reports for periodic availability reconciliation with enterprise customers as at when due.
Maintain a detailed and updated database of all operational enterprise customer links.
Coordinate the timely end to end implementation of approved capacity changes (upgrades/downgrades) on enterprise customer links.
Attend service review meetings with enterprise customers and internal stakeholders.
Maintain an up to date database of all the work orders for all enterprise customers.
Provide the root cause analysis (RCA)for enterprise service outages to the NOC / customer.
Maintain detailed reports of enterprise outages across the network.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager, Fixed Transmission Operations
Educational Requirements
First degree in a related Engineering field
Four(4) to Six(6) years post NYSC work experience

Job Summary
Coordinate the daily BSS operations including operations and maintenance, CR/WO implementation, integration and commissioning of 2G/3G/4G sites and health checks for BSS and RAN systems.
Principal Functions
Coordinating new RAN nodes integration
Coordinating corrective RAN/BSS maintenance as required, and assisting the field operation teams to resolve BSS/RAN issues including clearing of QOS alarms, resolving BSS-related outage and network problems.
Coordinating root cause analysis, network trend analysis and incident reporting
Coordinating RAN Node health checks and preventive maintenance
Coordinating second level and necessary back office support to the Field, and NOC teams
Ensuring optimum availability of BSS nodes
Coordinating the BSS database management, including network parameter changes, BSC/RNC rehoming, cutovers, new features implementation, network upgrades, BTS/Node B rehoming and packet switch configurations.
Proactively working with the RF planning team and other stakeholders for deployment of new network features and network improving activities on the network.
Coordinating the implementation of BSS/RAN-related work orders (WOs) and change requests (CRs)
Provision of expert BSS operations advice on solutions proposed by various BSS vendors.
Troubleshooting of critical BSS faults such as faults caused by software bugs, interface faults, severe KPI impacting faults using advanced troubleshooting skills.
Provision of BSS inputs for cross-technology engagement with other units involved in the deployment of technical solutions
Participating in major incident reviews, supporting incident managers in identifying real causes and accurate descriptions of incidents and impacts
Management of BSS teams' activities and evaluation of their performance.
Carrying out other duties as assigned by the Head, NOC and BSS
Educational Requirements
First degree or equivalent in Electrical or Computer Engineering or relevant discipline
Six (6) or more years post NYSC work experience with at least three (3) years at supervisory level

Job Summary
Implement an effective framework for the operation and maintenance of all optical transmission links and provide high level support functions on all operational optical transmission equipment.
Principal Functions
Tactical:
Keep abreast of global and local best practice as it relates to the team/ function's activities.
Assist in continuously reviewing the unit's activities, make recommendations for improvement and implement approved improvement initiatives to ensure enhanced performance of the team.
Assist in identifying required resources, personnel to achieve the unit/ function's strategy.
Establish and manage service levels with key internal and external stakeholders.
Operational:
Oversee the acceptance and handover of newly built / leased fibre infrastructure / Optical Equipment.
Ensure that a routine operation and maintenance programme/ procedure is in place for optical transmission links and equipment.
Manage the monitoring of all optical transmission systems, and ensure prompt repair and restoration of all faulty/down sites/ links
Manage the performance and availability of Optical transmission services deployed - DWDM backbone / City Metro fibre /Lastmile fibre to VIPs and other mobile operators.
Manage bandwidth on optical transmission media for optimal performance.
Monitor and ensure adherence to service level agreements with vendors (interconnect partners, leased line providers etc.)
Ensure efficient system logs and backup procedures are implemented and fully complied with.
Provide necessary support towards proper integration of new fixed transmission links.
Ensure prompt availability of information on all fibre/cable transmission links and equipment.
Consistently refine operating processes, systems and platforms to facilitate continuous improvement and ensure network operations meet operational delivery requirements.
Review recommendations of the internal audit function relating to fixed transmission operations policies, standards, guidelines and operations and take action as required.
Manage inter-unit functional relations to ensure synergy across the various departmental functions.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinate's performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives.
Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports of the fibre backbone and metro networks for the attention of the Head, Transmission Operations
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head, Transmission Operations
Educational Requirements
First degree in Engineering or arelated field.
Six (6) to Eight (8) years workexperience with at least two (2) years in a supervisory role

Evaluate and reconcile vendor invoices/bills to ensure payment is made for only services received inline with contractual obligations and commitments.
Principal Functions
Tactical:
Manage vendors, contract implementation and strategic projects; ensuring vendors are compliant with and deliver all contractual obligations and commitments based on the service level agreements (SLAs).

Educational Requirements
First degree in any relevant discipline.

Provide back office support to customers/subscribers and ensure incidences or issues are properly managed and resolved.
Follow up with all teams and vendors responsible for tracking BSS/RAN related faults and ensure prompt resolution.
Attend to BSS & RAN related customer complaints
Handle integration and commissioning of2G/3G/4G sites
Work with OEM support teams to resolve BSS/RAN related faults

Job Summary

Principal Functions
Provide support for the regional field support engineers , in resolving transmission faults and minimize network downtime to the barest minimum
Proffer solutions to repetitive transmission network faults affecting network quality and availability
Liaise with the regional field support engineers to resolve prolonged and repetitive transmission faults
Ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance, configuration change orders/request are duly implemented according to the work order/change request process.
Responsible for the timely troubleshooting / diagnosis of transmission links faults; follow up with resolving party to ensure that faults are resolved within acceptable MTTR.
Manage and escalate all unresolved/major faults to appropriate quarters for necessary attention.
Ensure transmission operation activities undertaken by vendors / service providers meet EMTS specifications.
Manage the performance and availability of microwave backbone and access transmission services systems/service deployed.
Manage bandwidth on the Microwave backbone / City metro for optimal performance
Maintain comprehensive sets of records for all microwave transmission links.
Maintain the integrity of site transmission links configuration database and record systems
Ensure all security and network integrity documentation is completed and adhered to
Prepare and compile report on the transmission of leased, backbone and access transmission links considering the SLAs
Monitor and ensure adherence to SLAs with Lastmile As A Service (LAAS) vendors.
Conduct routine performance checks on the transmission links via the NMS systems to ensure the desired QoS and customer experience
Ensure that approved transmission optimization tasks are executed according to schedule and with minimal distortion to service
