Job Summary
The Operations Manager supervises, co-ordinates, plans, directs and manages the banking operations of the bank and alsocarries out administrative and accounting functions in ensuring that financial transactions are seamless and accurate while advancing positive customer experiences.
The candidate will be required to have a minimum of 3 years hands on experience with Automated Teller Machines (ATM).
Duties and Responsibilities
Create a strong professional workforce by developing competent individuals in the banking operations team
Supervise and coordinate branch operations activities daily
Maintains a highly motivated, skilled and trained operations team
Ensures compliance with all external and internal regulations, guidelines, policies and procedures across the department
Oversees central Operations including account Services, clearings, payments, cash management and reconciliation
Safeguard customer data and protect against fraud through authorization levels and access rights
Oversees treasury Operations and management liquidity at every point in time
Establish and review key operational risk indicators/key control standards and formulate action plans to minimize the Bank’s exposure to fraud and losses.
Manage the Bank’s operational risk exposure by supporting the business to identify areas of operational risk exposure and by developing and implementing corrective action.
Design, develop and keep updated the Banks’ Operations Manual and ensure compliance to all operational guidelines, processes and procedures.
Responsible for re-engineering business processes to improve customer service and controls.
Manages banking relations with top customers of the bank
Collaborate with heads of other units to develop best practices for successful banking operations
Enforces dual control procedures at all times and that vaults are opened and closed on a timely basis.
Maintains logs/records of operational activities.
Performs pre-audits to ensure ongoing adherence with compliance procedures.
Stay informed of all deposit, business and consumer loan products.
Implement effective customer loyalty program
Flexibility to carry out any other task as requested by Management.
Qualifications
HND / B.Sc / in IT or Mathematics, Accounting or Banking and Finance.
Evidence of completion/ exemption of/from NYSC.
Evidence of completion of Microfinance Certification program.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years experience in banking operations.
Prior managerial experience in similar role or capacity.
Thorough knowledge of bank operations.
Analytical and practical understanding of workflow, capacity planning / optimization and process implementation.
Thorough knowledge of Cash Management, Payment as well as treasury functions.
Skills:

Job Description
The Head, Credit & Risk Management be responsible for the monitoring and management of the risk portfolio of the Bank.
The job holder will develop and implement systems, policies and procedures aimed at risk mitigation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Planning, designing implementing & managing the overall risk management process for the bank by developing the risk management framework, policies, processes, procedures and reporting standards that define the bank’s risk strategy and appetite in line with its overall business objectives.
Monitor the business development for emerging risks and recommend policies and procedures to improve the risk management process.
Facilitate the identification, assessment, measurement, monitoring, controlling and reporting the level of risks
Maintain oversight over the bank’s enterprise risk management activities.
Provide support, education and training to staff in order to create risk awareness.
Ensures proper documentation of credits by adhering to set documentation standards and procedures.
Define credit approval framework and recommend credit approval limits in line with banks’ policy.
Analysis and appraisal of Individual credit requests in accordance with approved policies and procedures to ensure that credit exposures are created subject to stipulated guidelines.
Conduct periodic stress tests and scenario analysis, assessing the impact to the Bank’s credit portfolio and make appropriate recommendations to senior management for appropriate action.
Support the loan remediation team, in negotiating work out plans and strategies for delinquent customers and provide additional support with respect to exposures requiring collection agencies or legal action
Review and analyze the delinquent portfolio to identify key causal factors, make recommendations and track them to ensure adequate and timely closure.
Monitor violations of credit policies, provide analysis, conclusion and recommendations, present findings to senior management and suggest actions/penalties to be taken when appropriate.
Prepare timely, comprehensive and reliable credit risk reports to senior management and board on a regular basis
Flexibility to carry out any other task as requested by Management.
Qualifications
HND / B.Sc / in Accounting, Economics or a related field.
Evidence of completion/ exemption of/from NYSC.
Evidence of completion of Microfinance Certification program.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years experience in a similar role at a microfinance bank or Fintech.
