JOB DESCRIPTION
Adherence to plan and budget.
Meet monthly budget assigned to the respective location through actively promoting the ideas of the Organization and Quality standards.
Identify areas of wastage, and work in conjunction with Site heads to drive down operational costs.
Improve customer's satisfaction through ISO Accreditation and Renewal as well as effectively monitoring the Quality Control activities of the laboratory.
ISO Accreditation
Ensure compliance to ISO 15189 standards through SANAS Accreditation protocol as well as implement and improve the Laboratory's Accreditation status and assigned PSCs.
Client satisfaction
To liaise with laboratory staff to provide optimum care and effective service to clients.
Co-ordinate TQM for respective location
SOP Management
Ensure laboratory's SOPs are reviewed, updated and members of staff acknowledge reading of SOPs.
Ensure adherence to SOPs and SYNLAB Policies
Audits
Conduct routine and periodic Internal audits to ensure processes are performed in accordance with ISO 15189 standards.
Ensure compliance to corrective and preventative actions post audits which guarantees continual system improvement.
Quality Control
Monitor performance of Quality Control on a daily basis to ensure patient's results are both precise and accurate.
Co-ordinate the implementation of the various Inter-laboratory comparism programs (EQA, IQC & IQA) which guarantees that procedures are consistent with the ISO 15189 standards.
Ensuring that all out-of-range QCs and Exception reports are reviewed, and corrective actions taken.
TQM
Co-ordinate TQM by ensuring compliance with SOP and Systems in conjunction with the laboratory/site Manager and Pathologist.
Monitor and ensure that environmental conditions does not invalidate processes.
Compliance with Safety protocols in respective sites.
To ensure expired and hitherto unfit stock are discarded promptly.
Monitor compliance to maintenance schedule of laboratory equipment’s / Instruments
Develop Management Reports - Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
JOB REQUIREMENT
BSc in any Biological Science related course.
Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
7 – 10 years proven experience as a quality assurance manager
Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
Develop detailed work plans for projects
Drive change management activities for all the company’s projects to ensure buy-in for all internal & external stakeholders
Identify project risk and put in place mitigants
Develops conceptual plans and budgets for facilities projects to support fiscal decision-making.
Coordinates with line manager to facilitate rational facility planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
Develops planning documents for initiation of projects to gain approval
Coordinates all parties involved in the planning, design, and construction process.
Reviews contract plans and specifications for compliance with appropriate building codes and project requirements.
Assists in development of new standards of practice for Project Management activities.
Track changes in plans and update budgets
All other duties that may be assigned
JOB REQUIRMENT
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
5 - 7 years of planning and construction experience
Knowledge of facilities planning and construction management processes and procedures.
Knowledge of estimating, budgeting, and scheduling practices.
Knowledge of current status of costs of new construction, escalation factors, and market trends.
Knowledge of building codes and standards of practice.
Knowledge of construction materials and methods.
Experience in surveying buildings and finishing works
Results-orientated and pragmatic with exceptional quantitative and analytical ability and attention to detail
Independent thinker and worker who can juggle multiple projects simultaneously with fast-changing priorities
Flexibility to roll up your sleeves and attack problems and projects as they arise, where you will need to set out a clear structure, method and outcomes yourself
Tech savvy who embraces new software and online tools and is personally interested by tech-enabled solutions
Comfortable and effective in managing and communicating with team members and stakeholders
