We are looking for an Electrical Technician with experience in the manufacturing and industrial environments.
Duties / responsibilities of this role include:
Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
Installation & wiring of various electrical equipment.
Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning plant equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
Advising management on continued use of unsuitable plant equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
Knowledge of working with PLC drives.
Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment.
Electrical Technician Requirements / Skills / Qualifications
Electrical Technician job description should include these common skills and qualifications:
Two-year Electrical, Technical, or related degree.
Completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
Good communication skills.
Hands-on.
Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
Knowledge and know-how of maintaining & servicing of air conditioners.
At least 3 years' experience as an Electrical Technician in a Manufacturing environment.
Paint Industry would be advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Added benefit would be experience in a paint manufacturing or chemical manufacturing environment
