Description
Job Purpose:
Responsible for end to end Maintenance of factory facilities, designing, implementing, controlling and optimizing industrial processes, especially continuous ones within the factory.
Scope:
Testing and evaluating the processes to locate inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvements to quality, productivity, safety, and cost.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Create, set specifications, develop, implement and monitor this equipment or these processes as part of the manufacturing system
Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
Provide process documentation and operating instructions in the factory
Develop new processes for high efficiency and cost effectiveness in the factory
Analyse and troubleshoot process problems so as to make continuous and permanent improvements.
Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations.
Work in conjunction with all engineering and R&D to support new products and new manufacturing technology platforms in operations
Develop and implement metrics to monitor and improve performance of processes in the factory
Develop and perform experimental process tests with respect to quality, method, cost, etc.
Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline required
5+ years in process engineering
Impeccable maths and statistical analysis skills
Excellent eye for detail
Proven history in improving supply chain efficiency
Must be comfortable with integrating new technology into an existing business environment
