Responsible for overseeing the daily operations and smooth running of all pharmacy stores.
Bring innovative ideas for the organization's profitability and push all stores to meet their sales target.
Have a thorough knowledge of products we stock and their location in the store and know which ones are fast lines and which are slow sellers. Take note of products we don’t stock but customers are requesting for and promptly to the purchase department.
Take accountability for the achievement of contractual, financial, and key quality targets for Pharmacy Services
Be the champion for medicines optimization and pharmacy advice, ensuring an evidence-based approach and high-quality patient-faced services are in place.
Ensuring multidisciplinary audit and review processes are complied with and work across organizational boundaries to ensure the organization complies with new pharmacy directives and maintains a high profile and levels of visibility to ensure a positive exchange of information.
Monitoring the expiration date of all inventory and close-dated products reported promptly.
Other duties as may be assigned by MD / CEO.
Requirements and Qualifications
B.Pharm. or Pharm.D Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college / university
Pharmacy Oath Certificate
Valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
At least 6 - 8 years of working experience.
At least 3 - 5 years of experience in a managerial capacity at a pharmacy
Postgraduate Degree in Management is an added advantage.
On-the-job training and be up to date with the latest trends and best practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work at Moderate Speed.
Interpersonal skills including building relationships and conflict resolution.
Experience in a similar industry.
Great managerial and organizational skills.
