Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Store Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our company's inventory and ensuring the efficient management of stock.
This is a key role that contributes directly to the smooth functioning of our business and the satisfaction of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock accurately.
Maintain organized and efficient storage of goods.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to manage stock levels based on demand forecasts.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the storage area.
Generate regular reports on stock levels, consumption, and potential shortages.
Participate in the development and implementation of inventory management policies and procedures.
Education and Experience
HND or BSC.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Store Officer or similar role.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
Knowledge of safety and quality standards in storage and warehousing.
