Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Officer at Dukes Neurosurgery and Specialist Hospital located in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, training and supervising other clinical staff, assisting in surgeries, working with other physicians and specialists, and keeping up-to-date with medical research and advancements.
Qualifications
Medicine: the candidate must possess relevant medical degrees, licenses and must be a member of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
Patient Care: the candidate is required to have experience in providing excellent patient care and possess strong communication, empathetic, and problem-solving skills.
Training: the candidate should have experience in training and supervising staff, especially junior medical officers.
Surgery: the candidate should have experience in assisting in surgeries and is ready to undertake more challenging surgical interventions.
Working with Physicians: the candidate should have experience working collaboratively with other physicians and specialists, and be ready to learn from Consultant led team.
Additional skills: knowledge of medical research and advancements, able to work well under pressure, detail-oriented, good time management skills.
