Job Description/Responsibilities

Utilize Sales Strategy Development:


Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with the goals and objectives of the insurtech firm.

Continuously assess market trends and competitor activities to adapt and refine sales approaches.


Team Leadership and Management:


Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.

Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales targets.


Sales Performance Monitoring:


Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the performance of the sales team.

Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.


Goal Setting and Target Achievement:


Set realistic and challenging sales targets for the team.

Work collaboratively with team members to develop action plans to achieve and exceed sales goals.


Client Relationship Management:


Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.

Oversee the development and maintenance of a customer relationship management (CRM) system.


Sales Training and Development:


Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team.

Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary product knowledge and sales skills.


Lead Generation and Prospecting:


Develop and implement lead generation strategies to expand the customer base.

Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize lead generation efforts.


Sales Presentations and Negotiations:


Conduct and guide the team in delivering effective sales presentations.

Assist in negotiating and closing high-value deals with key clients.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:


Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.


Sales Forecasting:


Develop accurate sales forecasts based on market analysis and historical data.

Provide regular updates on sales performance and projections to the executive team.


Technology Utilization:


Leverage technology, including sales management software and analytics tools, to streamline sales processes and enhance decision-making.


Feedback and Continuous Improvement:


Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the sales team.


Compliance and Ethical Standards:


Ensure that sales activities comply with industry regulations and ethical standards.

Promote a culture of integrity and transparency within the sales team.


Market Expansion:


Identify opportunities for market expansion and penetration.

Develop strategies to enter new markets and increase the firm's market share.


Budget Management:


Develop and manage the sales budget effectively.

Allocate resources to maximize returns and minimize costs.


Job Requirements


Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in insurance sales.

Proven work experience driving B2B, B2C, channel sales, agency in Insurance sales

Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Proficiency in sales software and CRM tools.

Experience with managing sales funnels and customer success.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline.

Effective communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Creative capacity to develop and lead initiatives to improve sales processes.

Effective capacity to work and collaborate with cross functional teams.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Ability to efficiently manage multiple sales communications simultaneously
