Brief Description
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the maintenance department ensuring that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in good conditions.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of operations and the safety of our staff.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing programs, managing a team of maintenance staff, coordinating repairs and maintenance schedules.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program, including regular inspections, preventive maintenance and repair activities
Prepare maintenance reports and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
Develop and implement strategies to reduce equipment downtime and increase productivity
Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities ensuring that repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner
Conduct regular inspection of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Monitor and control maintenance costs, including budgeting and cost analysis
Oversee the planning and execution of maintenance programs, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in good working conditions
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations
Maintain effective working relationship with vendors and contractors ensuring that all maintenance work is performed to the highest standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or related field
3-5 years proven experience in maintenance management preferably in a manufacturing setting
Strong background in maintenance management with proven abilities to optimize maintenance process
Solid understanding of maintenance planning, preventive maintenance and asset management
Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of successfully leading and developing a team
Excellent problem-solving and decision -making abilities
Strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
