JOB SUMMARY
We seek a highly experienced Senior Legal Associate with a strong background in dispute resolution, particularly litigation.
The ideal candidate will have 5 10 years of relevant experience and a passion for delivering effective legal solutions.
As a Senior Legal Associate, you will be an integral part of our legal team, providing expert advice and representing our clients in dispute resolution and corporate matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Handle various dispute resolution matters, including commercial litigation, contract disputes, employment disputes, intellectual property disputes, criminal disputes and family matters.
Legal Research: Conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant case law, regulations, and industry trends to provide wellinformed advice to clients.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional legal counsel, addressing client inquiries, and managing client expectations.
Case Management: Independently manage cases from inception to resolution, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, motions, and attending court proceedings.
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR): Assist clients in exploring and implementing alternative dispute resolution methods, where applicable, such as arbitration and mediation.
Legal Strategy: Develop and execute legal strategies to achieve favourable outcomes for clients while considering risk management and costeffectiveness.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and provide guidance to junior associates.
Legal Compliance: Ensure all legal activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
LL.B and BL
5 to 10 years of active litigation and dispute resolution experience.
