Responsibilities
Supervise day to day operations
Directing all transportation activities. And developing transportation relationships.
Monitoring transport costs. Negotiating and bargaining transportation prices.
Dealing with the effects of congestion.
Planning routes and load scheduling for multi-drop deliveries.
Allocating and recording resources and movements on the transport planning system..
Managing the company's trucks/Bikes ensure availability for usage.
Ensure vehicles/Bike are schedules for regular maintenance and coordinate other repairs.
Monitors driver's activities and ensure compliance to regulations.
Ensure Trucks/Bike loadings done according to standard.
Prepare and monitor budget
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly activity report to management highlighting
maintenance issues, challenges, recommendations/resolutions of problems.
Carry out other responsibilities that will assigned to you from time to time by management.
SKILLS
Excellent geographical knowledge.
Good people management and coordination skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of the transportation industry
Requirement
Qualification: Degree in relevant field
Experience: minimum of 5 years.
