Job Responsibilities
Handle port operations for clearing of goods.
Have relations with Freight Forwarders, Shipping Lines, Customs, and other relevant agencies.
Opening of LC (Letter of Credits) for imports.
Handle all documentation for Banks.
Handle all documentation for Imports and Exports related to banking and operations.
Handle Trade Finance desk, responsible for TRMS portal trade forms, NXP, Form M and others.
Draft LC ( Letter of Credit ), follow with the banks for LC issuance.
Presentation of documents to banks on shipments.
Coordinate with Country Finance Manager for negotiating banking terms and conditions on LC.
Sourcing of Forex from CBN/I&E Window.
Maintain relations with RMs for Import.
Coordinate with all sister companies in Nigeria on matters of export and import.
Advise necessary changes to streamline export and import.
Liaison with regulatory agencies for certification on NAFDAC, and SONCAP.
Skills/ Requirements
Import Business experience of 5 to 10 years
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s is preferred.
Well-developed communicational skills and a customer orientation
Knowledge about budget management, international trade and taxations
