Job Description
Counts store inventory for official store records.
Maintain logs of all products and supplies.
Keep up-to-date on store, shelves and order availability
Check actual store inventory against computerized records.
Report any discrepancies in inventory records to store manager.
Receive store deliveries.
Assist in unloading inventory from delivery truck.
Organize inventory in stock room.
Restock merchandise on sales floor as necessary.
File all delivery and inventory receipts.
Ensure that stock room is clean and well organized.
Move and restructure organization of stockroom to make space for new inventory.
Assist in cleaning and organizing the store upon closing.
Retrieve products from stock room for customers.
Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
Assist Inventory Manager on the sales floor in locating items.
Assist Inventory manager in devising new ways to reduce shrink and maintain inventory control.
