Sales and Revenue Generation:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the financial services sector.
Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through networking, prospecting, and relationship-building activities.
Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Negotiate and close deals to meet revenue objectives.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
Provide ongoing support and consultation to clients, offering insights and solutions to meet their financial goals.
Product and Industry Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and financial products/services.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the company's financial offerings and how they meet the needs of clients.
Educate clients on the features and benefits of financial products and services.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of services and products.
Work closely with internal teams to communicate client needs and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Use data-driven insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting the financial services industry.
Leadership and Mentoring:
Provide leadership and guidance to junior sales team members.
Share industry knowledge and best practices to contribute to the professional development of the team.
Continuous Learning:
Stay informed about advancements in financial technology and industry best practices.
Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
Meets or exceeds established annual sales production goals via generation of new accounts.
Partners with Customer Service Representatives to renew existing business to meet or exceed established retention goals. (Retention)
Maintains a current level of functional working knowledge on processes and coverage changes.
Keeps abreast of selling trends and techniques and use agency selling aids to help maintain a competitive status for the agency within the industry. (Self Development)
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
