The Business Development Manager shall work with volunteers and full-time staff to achieve the overall objectives and set goals of the institute, in line with its strategy in the areas of Leadership, entrepreneurship, Ministry and Governance.
Job Responsibilities
Promote the institute's visibility and programs through participation and membership in local as well as global community forums, civic organizations and social intervention spaces that align with key objectives.
Develop relevant capabilities and agreements for the institute in the areas of strategic partnerships and collaboration with reputable organizations, government agencies, high net worth/ philanthropic individuals, and other educational institutions globally.
Promote a culture of sustainable development across all the institute programs,and align them to the institute mission, vision, and objectives.
Collaborate with the management team to consistently develop and nurture teams as well as integrate staffing programs designed to attract the highest caliber of talent/ volunteers.
Support the successful design, development, and deployment of all the institute programs, courses, research, and educational interventions, ensuring that goals and objectives align with the institute strategy.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and roll out courses for the institute across the different schools.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Science, or Social Development ( MBA is a plus).
Strong leadership and management experience and proven success in leading/ contributing to business development, program development, budgeting, and implementation.
Strong report writing skills, including financial reports, with proven organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong coordination and leadership skills with proven ability to work across multiple technical areas simultaneously, supporting and mentoring multiple volunteer/ staff members.
Training and development specialist with a minimum of 5 years.
Candidates must have experience within a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).
