Job Objective
As Growht Hacker, you will be responsible for driving the Growth activities for CRM function in the country.
Central growth engine choses what to communicate and who to communicate but Growth Hacker is the gatekeeper of finding exhaustive different creative logics that will interest the entire user base.
The objective is to increase the engagement of the user base and give the right proposition for our customers to keep the Jumia APP and generate high CLV.
Key Responsibilities
As a Local Growth Hacker for Jumia, you should handle these responsibilities:
Daily Task Management:
Drive experimentation on different communication and segmentation to drive the most relevant content for each user by using data mining and SQL
Run experiment analytics to get the performance and identify similar users to scale up for the entire user base
Own local logics / experiments library, conduct recurrent checks and analysis and suggest improvement ideas.
Drive channel performance through data analysis and content testing in order to improve engagement (visit%) and conversions (orders%) by segment and prevent users from opt-out and uninstall.
Projects Management:
Work on new projects with Central Growth Team to:
Optimize and improve CRM channels’ performance
Automate the execution part
Include more logics to have better segmentation and more personalization on our communications
Drive transition of these projects
Tier 1/2 Event Management:
Own the planning and execution
Follow up to make sure all ETAs are respected and that all is clear to everyone
Review communication plan
Drive daily performance during the event to assess the situation and elaborate action plan to correct the performance if needed
Skills Required
:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Analytics or Engineering
Growth hacking mindset
Proficiency in English and Ms Office (especially Excel)
Intermediate knowledge of data querying (SQL)
Self motivated and able to work with cross functional teams
Nice to Have:
Proficiency in SQL
Intermediate knowledge of HTML
CRM experience or a relevant marketing experience driving communication channels

Objective
As a Compliance Analyst (FinCrime Analyst), you will be working under the leadership of the Jumia Group Head of Sanctions to help protect the company from being involved with individuals or entities associated with financial crime.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct reviews of sanctions watchlist alerts generated by the automated transaction filtering and client screening systems, manual reports or internal referrals. Document investigation steps performed and document the rationale for decisions;
Liaise with relevant teams to refine automated sanctions screening risk methodology, reduce false positive, mitigate sanctions risks and improve customer experience;
Follow operational procedures on sanctions alert handling, including document the decision rationale;
Escalate potential sanctions issues or suspicious activity to the Head of Sanctions;
Review and investigate PEP screening alerts utilizing the client screening system, internal Customer Due Diligence systems and third party sources;
Assist the Compliance Management with ad hoc projects;
Identify and analyze alerts generated by the screening system in order to identify politically related individuals, entities involved in financial crime, as well as sanctioned or terrorism-related entities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Fluency in English
Knowledge of AML, Counter terrorist financing or Sanctions issues.
Experience working with diverse and geographically distributed teams.
Working experience of minimum 2 years preferred.
Strong planning, organizational and management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to perform with a high level of discretion, professionalism and integrity.
The ideal candidate will be organized, pay attention to detail, and be a good troubleshooter/problem solver who works well under pressure and thrives in a start up environment.

Job Description
Following our mission to grow and expand our logistics services to external clients, we are looking for talented individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our team of sales consultants on a fixed-term commission basis.
As an Account manager, your key responsibility would be sourcing, converting, and growing potential customers for Jumia Services.
You will develop deep market knowledge of our industry, competitors, and customers, and leverage our value proposition to position Jumia’s offering to its customers and ultimately for revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation:
Researching industries and organizations to find new prospect opportunities.
Pitching Jumia Service and its value proposition to key contacts and decision makers at prospective organizations.
Manage the consequent lead conversion, and activation/onboarding process for new clients from existing markets and new markets.
Establish personal contact and rapport with influencers, decision-makers, and aggregators to grow prospective leads.
Lead client onboarding, refresher training programs, relationship management in addition to other engagement activities to increase revenue from existing clients.
Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to ensure Jumia logistics is featured in Jumia events to generate leads and drive increased revenue.
Develop proposals and quotes in line with the pricing strategy.
Report on sales progress against targets and lead execution of the gap-closing intervention.

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a relevant area of sales or marketing.
