We are seeking a qualified and experienced Facility Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our self-storage facility. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in facility or property management, with a preference for those familiar with the self-storage industry.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in facility or property management, preferably in the self-storage industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of security systems and facility maintenance practices.
Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Computer literacy, including proficiency in property management software.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of the self-storage facility.
Ensure the highest level of customer service for all tenants.
Oversee facility maintenance practices to ensure a safe and clean environment.
Implement and monitor security systems to safeguard the facility and its contents.
Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the facility.
Monitor and control operational costs to meet budgetary constraints.
Interact with tenants to address concerns, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships.
Handle inquiries, leasing, and move-ins/move-outs in an efficient and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of facility operations and tenant interactions.
Generate regular reports on facility performance and present findings to management.
Supervise and coordinate the work of facility staff.
Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff is well-equipped to perform their duties.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing the self-storage industry.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in facility or property management.
Knowledge of self-storage industry practices.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work within budgetary constraints.
