JOB SUMMARY:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Store Keeper.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and transactions, overseeing the receipt and storage of incoming materials and products, and ensuring the efficient organization and accessibility of stored items.

The Store Keeper will collaborate with various departments to fulfill internal and external requests, perform regular inventory audits, and adhere to safety and security protocols in the storage area.


ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Keep detailed and up-to-date records of inventory levels and transactions.

Utilize inventory management systems to track stock movements and update records accordingly.

Oversee the efficient receipt and storage of incoming materials and products.

Ensure that all items are accurately labeled, stored in designated areas, and organized for easy retrieval.

Implement and maintain an efficient organizational system for stored items.

Ensure items are easily accessible, minimize retrieval time and optimise workflow.

Collaborate closely with other departments to understand and fulfill their inventory needs.

Communicate effectively to coordinate and prioritize requests from different departments.

Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and report any discrepancies.

Analyze audit findings to identify trends, improve accuracy, and optimize inventory management processes.

Adhere strictly to safety and security protocols in the storage area.

Implement and enforce safety measures to prevent accidents, damage, or loss of inventory.


Skills & QUALIFICATIONS:


Demonstrated success and experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar role.

Proficiency in effectively managing and controlling inventory.

Strong organizational skills to manage diverse products efficiently.

Excellent time management abilities to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Knowledge of various inventory management systems.

Ability to adapt to and effectively use new technologies related to inventory control.

Meticulous attention to detail in record-keeping and inventory management.

Identify and rectify discrepancies promptly to maintain accuracy.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various departments.

Ability to work effectively in a team, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.
