Job Summary
As the Head of Consumer Banking, you will lead the strategic direction and operational management of all consumer banking products and services within the organization.
Your primary focus will be on driving growth, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring the profitability of the consumer banking division.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic plans for consumer banking in alignment with overall organizational goals.
Provide visionary leadership to drive growth, innovation, and market competitiveness in consumer banking offerings.
Lead the development, enhancement, and diversification of consumer banking products and services.
Monitor market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and identify opportunities for new product launches or improvements.
Implement initiatives to enhance the customer journey, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience across all consumer banking touchpoints.
Analyse customer feedback and data to drive improvements in service delivery and satisfaction.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for consumer banking and regularly assess divisional performance against set targets.
Mitigate risks associated with consumer banking activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, operations, and technology to drive effective product launches and marketing campaigns.
Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry partners, and clients
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role within consumer banking or retail banking.
Comprehensive understanding of consumer banking products, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
Strong strategic planning, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to lead and motivate teams effectively.
