The Enterprise Systems Administrator is responsible for performing a hands-on role that requires a full understanding of the integration of Dell & IBM infrastructure (Storage, Servers and SAN Switch), Linux systems, IBM Enterprise Service Bus(MQ/FTE), System and Application Monitoring using AppDynamics and Elasticsearch, Administer and support for IBM WebSphere Application Server, Virtualized Environment (VMware) Management Cloud Administration and Adoption (Microsoft & AWS, etc), Red Hat OpenShift. In addition, this position is responsible for Enterprise systems administration and providing communication and feedback to other team members. Accountable for contributing to the technical architecture, stability, resiliency, and general health related to data storage, backup and recovery solutions.
The Enterprise System Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Core-banking and peripheral application servers (AIX/Linux) and Storage infrastructure systems. The Enterprise System Administrator carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following technical areas: Server maintenance, LPAR management, System upgrades and procurement, infrastructure design and layout, Disaster Recovery design and implementation, OS installation and maintenance etc.
