As a Senior Project Manager with Turner & Townsend you will have a commercial focus and experience working across commercial, real estate or retail development experience.
Candidate will be based in SA / Nigeria and expected to travel to Ghana frequently.
Job Description
Candidate will have perform the following duties:
Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
Managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations
Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
Managing project timelines, risks and reporting
Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track
Chairing project meetings with clients and consultants
Being engaged with marketing and business development initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidate will hold the following qualification:
A recognised Degree or equivalent qualification
6+ years experience managing a range of different building projects
SACPCMP Registered
Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
Advanced Microsoft skills are essential
Technical ability to lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client

Job Description
Select subcontractors
Oversee the hospital construction from start to finish
Negotiate costs within the scope of the projects
Manage schedules and budgets
Take control of project elements
Provide technical input and ensure safe working environment in accordance with company procedures
Oversee delivery of construction activities and resolving all issues related to construction.
Qualifications
You must have at least Bachelor's Degree in the Built Environment, Construction Management or other relevant discipline
Minimum of 5 - 8 years proven experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of construction contract law.
