Job Description


Arranges cuts of meat and places them in an attractive manner in the display case

Weighs, labels and price variety of cuts of meat for on-demand selections by customers in an efficient manner that keeps customers satisfied.

Use skewers, bone knives, twine and other tools to lace, tie so that they are ready for customers to buy and cook.

Prepares meat into forms ready for cooking using a variety of actions, including boning, tying, grinding, cutting and trimming to make it easier for customers.

Maintains and cleans the meat preparation counter to reduce the risk of food contamination and adhere to food safety guidelines.


Qualifications


1 - 2 years’ experience as a butcher

SSCE or equivalent

Excellent oral and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of food safety and handling.

Ensures all items are appropriately tagged with current prices.

Price, Stack and displays items for sale and keeps the store tidy and attractive

Closely monitors goods about to expire and takes appropriate action in conjunction with Floor Supervisor/Manager.

Monitors items on display making sure there are no empty spaces on the shelves..


Qualifications


Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification required.

A minimum of 1 year experience as a sales representative.

Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus.

Great attention to detail.

Good communication and people skills

Job Description


Accepts deliveries from suppliers.

Assists in unloading supplies from the delivery truck.

Uses trollies, and other moving equipment to transport goods from point of supply.

Checks supply invoices to ensure all items are accounted for.

Stores and restocks delivery items as necessary.

Ensures that the stockroom is clean and organized.

Reports any major or unresolved supplies delays or problems to the line manager.


Qualifications


OND in any related field

Minimum of 1-year experience as receiving Officer.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Possesses physical strength necessary to lift and move heavy boxes received by the store.

Possesses basic math skills.

Works well with the team.
