The IT Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing an organization's IT infrastructure with a focus on advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Microsoft Azure, and DevOps practices. This role involves selecting and implementing the latest application/technology platforms to drive organizational efficiency. They will be involved in the process of making the company's technology competency and will play an integral part in the IT team. A fundamental understanding of network infrastructure would be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Stay updated and integrate the latest technologies such as AI, ML, and Cloud Technologies like Microsoft Azure into the existing IT infrastructure.
Contribute to the selection of next-generation application/technology platforms.
Implement and maintain DevOps practices across the organization.
Collaborate with various departments to understand their technology needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to other IT team members.
Implement security measures to safeguard the organization's data.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the IT infrastructure.
Participate in the development of IT strategic plans.
Conduct regular system audits.
Assist in building the organization's technology competency.
Network understanding is an added advantage
Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience in managing and optimizing IT infrastructure.
Expert knowledge in AI, ML, Microsoft Azure, and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with networking concepts is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to keep up with the latest technology trends and apply them to the organization's needs.
Experience in project management and system architecture design.
Professional certifications in AI, ML, or DevOps would be advantageous.
Work Experience: 5 – 8 years of working experience of experience managing and configuring IT infrastructure, with specific experience in AI, ML, Cloud Technologies, and DevOps practices. Hands-on experience with network infrastructure would be an added bonus.
