The Role
Xbox is seeking an experienced individual to join the newly established Global Expansion Incubator team to grow our content acquisition pipeline and strategic partnerships in the regional markets. This manager will lead efforts in engaging with local gaming content creators and closely partner with internal stakeholders to achieve globalization of Xbox.
This role requires exceptional collaboration skills where influence, rather than direct authority, is critical to executing and maintaining alignment of complex/cross-organizational initiatives to accelerate our content globalization. This person will be a self-starter, knowing how to work with ambiguity and unknown challenges to build our global muscles in prioritized markets. As a GXI Manager, you will base your decisions and prioritization on data and analytics to align to our partners’ needs and internal strategy. You will need a high tolerance for and even appreciation and enjoyment of ambiguity and change; you will need to demonstrate problem-solving, leadership and decisiveness with limited oversight; and you will need to effectively navigate across a wide range of levels, roles, and personality types with ease.
This role is a do-it-all function, balancing multiple projects at once, and being able to seamlessly switch context to solve new challenges.
Responsibilities
Strategy
Develop an understanding of local customers, competitors, content, partners, business models, and gaming industry trends while producing quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Provide guidance to internal stakeholders to inform decision-making in Gaming expansion plans.
Use existing knowledge base to drive prioritization, planning and new opportunities.
Develop an understanding of Xbox’s and content creators’ strategic priorities, competitive position, gaps, and potential opportunities.
Program Management
Drive to see new and existing initiatives through from start to finish in a complex, matrixed environment.
Be a proven problem solver and innovator to work through blockers & challenges to see projects and programs through.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong communicator with demonstrated success in clearly and persuasively communicating complex or sensitive business issues to senior management and external content creators.
Support business operations including managing contracts, tracking new business initiatives, and presenting Microsoft’s gaming vision.
Partnership Management
Proactively engage and develop relationship with external gaming partners (i.e. gaming associations, governmental organizations, content creators etc.) while evangelizing Xbox Gaming Ecosystem.
Explore creative ways to collaborate with external gaming partners by understanding shared strategic goals and opportunities.
Identify, present, and acquire gaming contents from existing and new partners to support Microsoft platforms and subscription services.
Be the connector between Microsoft gaming and content creators representing Xbox to be the GLOBAL gaming platform of choice.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
At least 5 years of relevant business experience in one or more of the following: business development, strategic partnerships, strategy & operations, global projects, project management and/or program management.
Fluent in English (written and verbal communications)
Comfortable with public speaking and engagement
Strong awareness of local culture and business etiquette
Comfortable with traveling domestically and internationally up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Gaming Industry
Existing network within the gaming developer and publisher community

We are seeking a dynamic individual contributor for our Engineering function as part of our Insights and Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for building Citizen developer Apps using PowerApps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
Our team owns multiple internal products for reporting and LOB applications. We support senior leadership, product development, finance, sales & marketing with analysis, insights & reporting.
Responsibilities
Develop apps based on PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse and SQL
Build aggregates and data pipelines required for reporting, insights production, ML models and ad hoc analysis
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
3 years of experience as software engineer.
1 year of experience in PowerApps, Power Automate or similar low code\no code technology.
Preferred qualifications
Passion for data and the desire to learn & adopt new technologies & analysis methodologies.
A willingness to learn, share, & improve.
Great written & verbal communication skills
Comfortable dealing with ambiguity & working independently
Any experience in Azure Devops and PowerBI would be a plus.
Any experience in big data technologies like Cosmos, Hadoop, Azure data lake etc.
Any Understanding of telemetry and data analytics technologies like: SQL, Cosmos, Kusto, Azure ML, R, Python, Spark, Hadoop.

Responsibilities
Build aggregates and ETL data pipelines required for reporting, insights production, ML models performance and evaluation and ad hoc analysis.
Work with data scientist to come up with new actionable insights that improve the customer’s experience.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
3 years of experience as software\data engineer.
1 year of relevant work experience in Big Data Engineering and/or ML Engineering
Technical aptitude and hands-on experience with data analysis or ETL processing
Preferred qualifications
1 year of big data experience like Cosmos, Hadoop, Azure data lake etc.

Experience in ML Engineering and experimentation Software lifecycle
Track record of mentoring and managing individuals
Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills

In this role, you will be responsible for developing tabular models, reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to drive business success. You will work cross-functionally with product and engineering, enabling them with data and narratives about the customer journey
Responsibilities
Design, build and deploy large scale end to end BI solutions, including tabular models using Analysis Server/XMLA endpoint
Create reports and dashboards from various sources.
Analyze data using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques.
Create and integrate Power Apps and Power Automate flows with Power BI reports.
Present findings and recommendations to key decision makers at various management levels
Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and manage BI and reporting projects.
Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, set milestones and prepare detailed work breakdown structures.
Enhance, evangelize, test and implement BI processes and tools.
Help improve Microsoft products through feedback and use of internal BI technologies.
Maintain and enhance Share Point hub with embedded reports.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
At least 3 years of industry experience
1+ years of experience with Power BI, knowledge of advanced DAX functions and developing large scale Tabular Models
3+ years of experience writing SQL queries.
Strong understanding of database management principles and relationship modeling
Preferred qualifications
Masters, PHD or MBA Degree in Engineering, Analytics, Information Technology, Management Science, Data Science or related field
Experience with big data telemetry systems
Knowledge in applied statistics and mathematics
Experience with programming languages such as R and Python
Experience creating Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.
Enjoy discovering and solving problems; proactively seeking clarification of requirements and direction; being a self-starter who takes responsibility when required.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, visual and presentation skills, ability to communicate complex findings in a simple manner to executives.
